Thanksgiving Day Gimp

Happy thanksgiving from GimpNation to all of our viewers. If you are on DA during Thanksgiving and have any lovely art you created in Gimp then be sure and send a note to me with the thumb code and I will add it to the Thanksgiving day Journal!

News
In the world of Gimp things are progressing nicely with the next version according to the site notes. Ubuntu released their new version of Ubuntu a couple of weeks back so be sure and upgrade if you have not.

Other news of interest, google released its developers code for the new Google OS. Despite the hopes of many that there would be a user friendly beta available there is currently not.

Open Source Products Recommended: Open Office, Gimp.


Tip of the week: Find information on your image in gimp:

Right click on your image and select image then Image Properties from the drop down menu. This contains all sorts of wonderful information on your image that you are working on currently in Gimp.

My reason for this account is simple. I use GIMP and feel that more people would use it instead of the expensive or illegal versions of paid software that is out there now.
